Switch Cell Phone Carriers to AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint Wireless to Save

This is the official blog of CellPhoneSwitchDeals.com. What is a "cell phone switch deal"? To put it simply, these are deals you can get if you switch cell phone carriers when your contract is up. Most major cell phone providers offer special deals for new customers. It is true that some customers can save money with a cell phone upgrade, by staying with their existing carrier and signing a new agreement. However, better cell phones and deals may be available from another wireless provider.

What are the main objections to switching to another carrier? Some consumers may be concerned they will not be able to keep their same phone number. While this concern is understandable it is not valid. When you switch to another carrier you can simply transfer your phone number to your new device. I have done this myself and will be writing about this more in the future. Perhaps you are just very comfortable with your current cell phone provider. This is also understandable, but if a new provider offers a lower price on a new phone along with wireless phone plans that better fit your needs, don't let your level of comfort cost you money. For example, you might have an iPhone or other smartphone plan with AT&T Wireless. You are probably very comfortable with their service and billing procedures. However, you might find that you could save money with Verizon Wireless Family Plans, where you can get up to 5 smartphones on 1 plan. You might even find Verizon will offer you free cell phones if you switch. This is just a hypothetical example, of course. It might make more sense to upgrade your AT&T cell phone.

There are many factors at play here. What is most important is finding the deals that offer you what you need at the price that makes sense for you.
